If you ever wondered what running a small business looks like behind the scenes, welcome to our world: it is equal parts heart, hustle, green leaves, and a lot of daily mileage.
We are a blended crew of eight kids with a unique foundation—four co-parents living together under one roof alongside our exes, who are engaged to each other. We traded separate households for open communication, mutual respect, and a shared village to raise our family together.
Our everyday rhythm spans every walk of life:
* Two older kids who have launched into adulthood and are out making their own way.
* One in high school, three in middle school (including one daughter deep into competitive cheer practices, carpools, and weekend comps), and one in elementary.
* Our youngest, whose daily round-trip commute to ABA therapy anchors my mornings and afternoons, celebrating every milestone along the way.
With daily therapy drives, cheer carpools, and an eight-kid household, a standard 9-to-5 job with rigid hours was never an option. There is no corporate punch-clock that bends around midday therapy runs or allows the flexibility our family genuinely needs.
While the household is run as a four-parent team, the plant business is a labor of love run exclusively by me and my boyfriend.
In the middle of our lively home, plants became our shared sanctuary and obsession. We fell in love with turning everyday living spaces into lush, climbing indoor jungles—watching trailing aroids take root, sizing up foliage, and seeing bare corners transform into thriving green canopies. But we quickly realized that serious indoor jungles don’t happen with cheap, mass-produced big-box supplies. Plants need durable support, thoughtful design, and intentional materials to reach their fullest potential.
So, the two of us started building what our own collection needed. In the open windows between morning ABA drop-offs, afternoon cheer runs, and quiet late nights, we craft, assemble, test, and pack every order by hand right from our workshop.
